Mason Scott Reich is a New York City (“NYC”) based singer, songwriter, actor, and playwright. In his early years of performing, his work included a variety of stage appearances in plays, musicals, and cabarets held within NYC’s Broadway Theatre District as well as in regional theatres and music venues across the northeast. Appearances in productions by The Midtown International Theatre Festival and The Actor’s Studio were also included among his body of work as well as television commercials and other film work, including music videos.

As a native of Winston-Salem, N.C., Mason’s high school years were spent in a variety of local community theatre productions. Upon high school graduation, Mason continued to pursue his theatre passion receiving a scholarship to Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, S.C. from which he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Dramatic Arts having performed a major role in every role staged performance offered during his education there.

In the summer of 2010, Texas Family Musicals (“TFM”) near Dallas hired Mason for a series of shows including Cats. Following his success with TFM, Mason toured nationally for nearly a year with The Omaha Theater Company’s children’s production of If You Give a Cat a Cupcake. That tour included performances at NYC’s Symphony Space. Upon conclusion of the national tour, Mason continued his performances at various regional east coast theatre companies before moving to NYC in January of 2013.

Apart from acting, Mason wrote his first short play, SKIP, which premiered at The Midtown International Theatre Festival’s Short Play Lab. Later, in collaboration with his brother, director Justin Reich, SKIP became an award winning film at the 2018 Austin Revolution Film Festival.

Mason’s love and passion for music led him to composing and performing his own songs while accompanying himself on piano. His debut album, Reflecting, has been released.
